Vincent United Methodist Church will gather for worship this Sunday morning, July 28 at 10:00 a.m. on the Tenth Sunday after Pentecost.
The church is open for worship in the church sanctuary, will be broadcast live from the sanctuary on the church's Facebook page, and will be available for Call In. Pastor Sam will share a children’s sermon and continue the series “Blessings in Transition” with the message “The Promise of Green or God?” Join us as we seek to grow in faith and service in Christ!

New Vincent Church Pastor - Rev. Dr. Samuel Park
Bishop John R. Schol has appointed Rev. Dr. Samuel Park as the next pastor of Vincent United Methodist Church in Nutley. Rev. Park was born and raised in NYC. He felt God tug at his heart to be in pastoral ministry at a mission trip in Mexico. He received an M.Div from Drew and D.Min from Wesley while serving churches in NY, MD, NJ, most recently at Delran UMC. He has a heart for preaching, teaching, the local church, missions, and loves to see disciples of Jesus making disciples of Jesus. He and his wife Grace are blessed with two wonderful children.
Community Care Kitchen The Community Care Kitchen serves hot take-out meals three times per month at Vincent United Methodist Church (100 Vincent Place in Nutley) on the second, third, fourth, and last Saturdays of each month from 11:30-12:30. Prepared and shared by people from Vincent Church, Grace Church, Holy Trinity Church, St. Marys Church, and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, the meal might be chicken or beef or pasta with delicious sides and vegetables. Everyone is welcome to come by the Community Care Kitchen and pick up a meal-to-go including families and seniors. Please bring a large bag or two to carry the food. In these tough times, there is a growing need and the churches are partnering with others in our community to make a difference in the world. Anyone who would like to make a contribution can contact the Vincent Church Office or visit the church website at www.vincentumc.org.
Care Pantry Vincent United Methodist Church provides a Care Pantry for those in need in our community. Distribution of personal care items is on the first Monday of every month from 4-6:00 p.m., for those with demonstrated need. At this time, the Care Pantry is very low on the following items: dish detergent, laundry detergent, household cleaners, paper towels, and shampoo and conditioners. Anyone who would like to donate items or make a monetary contribution may do so Monday to Thursday from 9-12 at the Vincent Church Office.
Church Halls Available Vincent Church has two large rooms available for use by groups and families. Fellowship Hall is a 2500 square foot room with table seating for up to 135 people. It is handicapped accessible and convenient to the parking lot. Philhower Chapel is an elegant 1800 square foot room with table seating for up to 80 people. These rooms can be used for children’s parties, showers, family dinners, christenings, holiday parties, recitals, and workshops. For more information, contact the Church Office.
