Brooklyn, NY (NYPD) – The NYPD has released images of a suspect wanted in connection with the stabbing of a 60-year-old MTA bus driver in East New York, Brooklyn, on Saturday night.

The suspect was captured on security footage engaged in a heated argument with B99 bus driver Isaac Egharevba around 11:30 p.m. near the intersection of Pitkin Avenue and Alabama Avenue, according to police reports. During the altercation, the man allegedly stabbed Egharevba in the neck with an unidentified sharp object before fleeing the scene on foot.

Egharevba, who has served as a bus driver for 17 years, sustained a severe cut to the left side of his face, between his neck and jaw, resulting in significant bleeding, according to the TWU Local 100 union. The incident reportedly escalated as several passengers expressed frustration over a route detour.

As of now, no arrests have been made.
