Coroner IDs 3 killed in fatal crash
Medical examiners with the L.A. County coroner’s office released the identity of three individuals killed Tuesday evening in a fatal crash on The Old Road. Brian White, 22, of Castaic; Nylah Blanchard, 16, of Adelanto; and Quinell Shelton, 15, of San Bernardino, were killed after they were ejected from the vehicle, according to information from the coroner’s office and the California Highway Patrol, which is investigating the crash.
Man killed while riding motorcycle in Perris
A 46-year-old man was killed while riding a motorcycle in Perris on Friday afternoon when he was struck by a car. The crash happened at around 4 p.m. near the intersection of Ramona Expressway and Redlands Avenue, according to Riverside County Sheriff's Office deputies. They say that the motorcyclist, identified as 46-year-old Perris man Samuel Alvarado, was riding southbound on Redlands Avenue when he was hit by a Nissan sedan driving westbound on Ramona Expressway, deputies said. Alvarado was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics despite attempted life-saving measures. It's unclear if the driver in the Nissan sustained any injuries. Hemet police shoot, kill suspect after report of man armed with gun, authorities say
A man was shot to death by police in Hemet after officers responded to a call about an intoxicated man with a gun in his pants leaving a bar in the downtown district, authorities said..Officers approached the man about 1:40 a.m. Thursday in the 200 block of East Florida Avenue, where shots were fired, according to police. There wereno further details made public about the events that led up to the shooting.The man died at the scene.
