1 hospitalized after shooting in Nashville
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Metro Nashville Police are investigating a shooting in south Nashville early Saturday morning, officers said. Officers responded to an Exxon gas station around 2:40 a.m. for a shooting call. They found a man had been shot and had bullet holes in his car. Officers said the shooting happened somewhere else, and the victim then drove to the gas station.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Police arrested Cedric Taylor after he allegedly tried to steal a car on Thursday morning. Police credited one man’s quick actions for the arrest. Police said a woman was waiting outside the shop to get her car serviced when a man punched her in the face and tried to take her car.
Johnny Nieto Jr. drunkenly locks himself inside bathroom stall at Hooters
28-year-old Johnny Nieto Jr. was found locked inside a bathroom stall at Hooters at 12:35 a.m. on July 6th. An employee at the location informed officers that Nieto had been drinking before police arrival and was in the bathroom stall for a long time. Once officers made contact with Nieto, they noticed the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from him. During their interaction with Nieto, they observed that he was incoherent and couldn’t maintain his balance. Nieto Jr. was taken into custody for public intoxication.
