PHOTOS: Advocate Children’s Hospital NICU babies dress up for Olympics

CHICAGO — Babies in the NICU at Advocate Children’s Hospital are celebrating their wins with patriotic attire ahead of Friday’s opening 2024 Olympic ceremonies.

The hospital released images Thursday of the babies in their neonatal intensive care units in Oak Lawn and Park Ridge, introducing them as the “tiniest and most adorable members of Team USA.”

Families in the NICU are celebrating these babies, who have overcome so many hurdles just in their first weeks and months of life, by dressing them up in medals and Olympic-appropriate gear.

The hospital said, “The Advocate Children’s Hospital team has awarded them gold medals for resilience, bravery and cuteness. With their go-for-the-gold mindset, we may just see them on the big Olympic stage someday.”
