Oak Ridge area women invited to Patriotic Celebration Luncheon July 9

All Oak Ridge area women and their guests are invited to a "Patriotic Celebration Luncheon" from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 9.

It will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel, 215 S. Illinois Ave., Oak Ridge. Join in the musical celebration of Independence Day as presented by the local group, The Recollections. Following their presentation will be the inspirational guest speaker, Denita Arnold, who is from Louisville, Kentucky. She will share about her journey that began with heartache and despair, but has a happy ending. Her talk is titled, "A Fairytale Journey," according to a news release.

The entire program, including the luncheon by the DoubleTree is $16, including tax and tip. Make your reservations by noon on Friday, July 5, to Debbie at 865-323-3973 or Roena at 865-806-1071. Free preschool childcare is included with reservations.

The luncheon program is presented by the Oak Ridge Christian Women's Connection, which is "A Place for Every Woman, Where Every Woman Takes Her Place," and is affiliated with Stonecroft Ministries, which is nondenominational.
