Luckman, Sanders, And Henderson Collect Trophies At Cottage Grove's Christmas In July Event. (Photo Courtesy of Jason Davenport Photography) Cottage Grove, Oregon—Cottage Grove Speedway hosted their Christmas In July event on Saturday, July 20th, which also served as the makeup for their Fan Appreciation Night. This special night, originally scheduled earlier in the season, was rained out, and the organizers decided to combine it with the Christmas In July event to give fans a double dose of excitement. In addition to the historical 1/4-mile clay oval having the Dave's Home Supply Iron Head Sprints, they also had in attendance the Late Models, Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods presented by Roadhouse Billiards & Brew, the Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts presented by Kiefer, and even Santa Claus made a special summer vacation stop.

ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR ALLEGED MENACING INCIDENT
Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged menacing incident on Sunday. An RPD report said just after 10:00 a.m. officers contacted the 37-year-old after he allegedly threatened a victim with a hammer in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway.
