    Person robs Huntington Bank in Oakwood; police investigating

    OAKWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) — Authorities are looking for a suspect accused of robbing a bank in Oakwood.

    According to Oakwood Public Safety Chief Alan Hill, officers were sent Tuesday around 9:30 a.m. to the 2400 block of Far Hills Avenue for a reported robbery.

    Police told 2 NEWS an individual went inside the bank and presented a teller with a note asking for money. The suspect left the bank with an undetermined amount of money, according to Hill.

    Upon arrival, the area was checked for the suspect, but no one was found. The suspect is described as a middle-aged male, standing at 6 foot 2 inches, and was wearing an orange baseball cap and a surgical mask.
