Mount Sinai boys basketball opens summer league season with victory
The Town of Brookhaven launched its summer league boys basketball season when the Mustangs of Mount Sinai played Sachem East Thursday, June 27, at the Sachem East High School gymnasium. In Bellmore, Shore Road students are onto their next adventure
Shore Road School sixth graders officially became middle schoolers upon crossing the John F. Kennedy High School stage during their graduation ceremony on June 21. Graduates Max Hindes, Nicholas Taylor, Eric Weng and Annmarie White presented the flags as the color guard while Brooke Greenbaum led the salute. Principal Patrice Matthews welcomed guests and commended graduates’ perseverance. “We are more than confident that the Class of 2024 will continue to be a beacon of light for themselves and lead others by their example,” she said.
North Bellmore graduates are off to middle school
The sixth graders comprising the North Bellmore School District’s graduating Class of 2024 put on their gowns and crossed the stage at five commencement ceremonies on June 24 and 25.
