Local advocate reflects on Alzheimer's impact on her family amid medical advancements
Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — Pittsford resident Tamara Minter has been a longtime advocate who has raised awareness about Alzheimer's disease in New York. "I just believe that I'm here to serve," said Minter, a board member with the Rochester Finger Lakes chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. "My purpose is to serve and do what I can for other people. I enjoy doing it."

Christine Corbett, of Manlius, has been named vice president for development for the Upstate New York Chapters of the Alzheimer’s Association. In this newly created position, Corbett is responsible for the fundraising and development operations of three Upstate New York chapters of the Alzheimer’s Association, including Central New York, Rochester and Finger Lakes Region and Western New York.
