    Ohio Bison 15U win World Series title in Maryland

    The Ohio Bison 15U won five consecutive games last week to win the Baseball Youth World Series championship in Ocean City, Maryland.

    The Bison, who played six games total, outscored their opponents 35-10. After tying Philadelphia Prime 16U in their first game, they beat teams from Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Virginia.

    The Bison beat Philadelphia Prime 16U 8-2 in a rematch the semifinals. They then beat Manassas White 15U 3-0.

    Wyatt Tysinger threw a four-hit shutout with four strikeouts in the final, and he also drove in a run at the plate with James Solomon and Maxim Fink combining to score the three runs. Conner Sullivan hit two doubles and drove in three runs, and Peyton George threw six one-hit innings in the semifinal.

    Other players are Aidan Rhoads, Caden Gano, Evan May, Keaton McClain, Landon Larason, Landyn Ankrum, Matt Riedel, Miles Drake and Trenton Wilson. Coaches are Tom Larason, Justin Gano, Justin McClain and Kyler Duston.
