BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A man was shot twice while trying to go to work in Boynton Beach on Monday morning. The Boynton Beach Police Department (BBPD) said at 4:53 a.m., a 42-year-old man was leaving his home on Newlake Drive when gunfire erupted. The shooting happened inside The Cove at the Boynton Beach Apartments, a gated community near Woolbright Rd.
