New Bible-based school opening in fall
Pastor Clark Rivas will serve as school administrator for the new Winter Garden Christian Academy that will open for the next 2024-25 school year. Faith Family Community Church is opening a Bible-based school in Winter Garden for kindergarten through third-grade students in its inaugural year. Parents can register their children at Winter Garden Christian Academy for the 2024-25 school year; a maximum of 64 students will be accepted — 16 per classroom.

Students Fend Off Cyber-Attackers at Orlando CyberCamp
The Central Florida Navy League (CFNL) held its annual CyberCamp at the DoD StarBase Central Florida in Orlando, June 24-28. The week-long camp provided 8-to-16-year-old students with interactive activities, hands-on experiences, and a comprehensive introduction to cybersecurity. Students then competed in a final day competition to evaluate their learning experience. The National Technology Student Association (TSA) Conference was held last week in Orlando, Florida as thousands of the most talented young engineering and technology students from across the nation and globe engaged in workshops, delegation meetings, officer elections, and an intense schedule of competitive events.
