FOUR BOARDS OF ALDERMEN TO MEET MONDAY NIGHT

Four area boards of aldermen are set to meet Monday evening for their regular meetings.

The Sweet Springs Board of Aldermen will convene at 6 p.m. to discuss a dog ordinance and continue discussions concerning windows at a city building. Also meeting at 6 p.m. is the New Franklin Board of Aldermen, who will discuss the city pool and a project on Boggs Street, as well as consider a tower inspection. Up the road, Glasgow’s Board of Aldermen will meet at 6:30.

The city of Odessa will gather its board of aldermen tonight at 7 p.m. The board will receive a pair of updates from streets and water superintendent Darrin Lamb and consider amendments to the fiscal year 2024 budget. They will also be introduced to Odessa’s new finance director, Amy Finch.
