DLO Musical Theatre Preparing for PIPPEN Performances this Coming Weekend (July 26th – 28th)
Danville Light Opera Musical Theatre is preparing for their performances of PIPPEN this coming weekend; Friday, July 26th through Sunday, July 28th at Danville High School’s Dick Van Dyke Auditorium. DLO Board Member and Secretary Jordan Richey is the director. Brandt, Wright win Lakeview Country Club golf titles
BAYLES LAKE — Jim Brandt of Paxton overcame a heartbreaking loss last year to become the 2024 Lakeview Country Club champion on Sunday. Brandt seized control of the weekend tournament on Saturday shooting a 1-over-par 72. On Sunday, Brandt held off charges by Paxton Swede manager Mark Prina and young Tyler Fornoff. Brandt birdied the tough par 3 17th to seal the win. Fornoff finished second four shots back, with Prina five shots back. The championship was Brandt’s first.

CHICAGO, Ill. - In an unusual sight, the iconic Oscar Mayer Wienermobile was seen loaded on the back of a tow truck following a crash in Illinois yesterday. According to the Illinois State Police, the Wienermobile collided with a car, lost control, and rolled onto its side after an attempt to correct its course. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
