Jordan Chapman hired as Paxton Park District’s recreation director
PAXTON – The Paxton Park Board approved the hiring of Jordan Chapman as the Paxton Park District’s recreation director during a special meeting held Monday. Chapman worked for seven years as the director the St. Anne-based Kankakee County Humane Foundation before taking a position as assistant director of unified initiatives for Special Olympics Illinois.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - An Illinois man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for shoving his girlfriend off a hotel balcony in South City in 2021. Cameron Creamer, 32, of Danville, Illinois was sentenced Monday. He pleaded guilty to charges of first-degree domestic assault and first-degree kidnapping.
