Motorcycle rider hospitalized in Riley County crash

RILEY COUNTY ( KSNT ) – A motorcyclist was injured following a crash near Ogden on Thursday.

The Riley County Police Department (RPCD) posted to social media just before 3 p.m. on July 11 warning drivers to avoid the area near the intersection of Skyway Drive and Wildcat Creek Road. Police said westbound of Skyway Drive was “completely shut down” at Wildcat Creek Road due to a crash.

RCPD spokeswoman Ashley Tokoi told 27 News the crash was first reported at 2:40 p.m. involving a single motorcycle rider. This individual was left injured in the aftermath of the crash and transported to a Manhattan hospital for treatment. The area of the crash is now open to traffic.
