Rochester Fringe Festival tickets on sale, full lineup announced
The Rochester Fringe Festival has announced its full lineup for 2024 and tickets are now on sale. The event held its annual Big Reveal news conference on Tuesday. This year will feature a lineup of 250 productions with more than 650 performances over 12 days. The Spiegeltent and the Spiegelgarden will return at One Fringe Place, located at the corner of Main and Gibbs Streets, across from Eastman Theatre.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A festival celebrating the LGBTQIA+ communities has brought thousands of people to Rochester. “We've got the stage where we've got a headliner, we've got drag queens, we've got food vendors here,” Trillium Health CEO Jason Barnecut-Kearns said. “There's just so much. But we're here to celebrate Pride, to recognize the LGBTQ community and just really give us a chance to just be ourselves, be our authentic selves.”
Brockport grants rezoning to Sweden property
At its July 15 meeting, the Brockport Village Board granted incentive zoning to 133 State Street, the site of the former Sweden Senior Center, to allow low-impact business use in the future. The zoning change was needed in order for the Town to sell the property to a local dental practice.
