State agriculture officials have confirmed the presence of spotted lanternfly in the Finger Lakes region, a concerning development for local grape growers. Teen sentenced in 2022 deadly shooting of another teen during fight on Weld Street
Rochester, N.Y. — A teenager charged in the 2022 shooting death of another teen in the city was sentenced Friday. Raymar Alexander, now 18, is set to serve 17 years in prison. He pleaded guilty in May to first-degree manslaughter after fatally shooting Chance Mosley, 17, during a fight at a home on Weld Street in Rochester Nov. 1, 2022, according to the Monroe County District Attorney's Office.
