Crews respond to motorcycle crash near Rapids City Saturday
RAPIDS CITY, Ill. (KWQC) - Crews were on the scene of an apparent motorcycle crash near the I-80 exit on Illinois Route 84 near Rapids City around noon on Saturday. A Rock Island County official told TV6 the rider was not seriously injured and was seen walking around at the scene of the crash.
Freeport police investigate shots fired report leaving 1 hurt
FREEPORT, Ill. (WIFR) - A teenager on Freeport’s east side is hurt from a shots fired report early Saturday morning. Just after midnight on July 20, Freeport officers were alerted to a shots fired report in the area of Frank Street and Chicago Avenue. The police were also notified about a 17-year-old male victim who was transported to FHN Hospital with a gunshot wound. The victim was treated and later discharged.
