Join the Thursday Novice/Beginner Ride at RiverScape for a Scenic Cycling Experience

Participants are invited to meet under the white canopy at the park, located at 237 E Monument Ave, Dayton, OH. It's important to arrive by 6:00 pm in order to sign the necessary ride waiver, prepare bicycles, and receive ride information. The ride will commence promptly at 6:10 pm.

Safety is a priority for this event. Thus, helmets are mandatory for all participants as per the Miami Valley Cycling Club's (MTCCD) regulations, and though it's not required, lights are recommended given the ride's evening schedule. This ride is tailored to be inclusive and accessible, featuring a shorter distance of 5-10 miles at a gentle pace of 9-12 mph, perfect for those who are either new to the sport or not accustomed to riding in groups.

In the case of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, any decision to cancel the ride will be communicated by 5:00 pm on the day of the event.
