    Oklahoma City Zoo’s popular holiday event Safari Lights returns in November

    OKLAHOMA CITY ( KFOR ) — Oklahoma City Zoo announced on Thursday its fan favorite holiday event ‘ Safari Lights ‘ is returning for its fourth year.

    The announcement came through OKC Zoo’s Facebook page with the help of their fury friend Gus the Honey Badger. The event returns on November 9 and goes until January 1.

    Safari Lights will feature new and bigger light displays, new interactive lanterns, festive treats and themed photo opportunities.

    Those in attendance have the opportunity to experience the event either on foot or from the comfort of their own vehicle. OKC Zoo offers the opportunity to purchase Drive-Thru Admission.

    The admission for the drive-thru course is for one vehicle and up to four walk-thru admissions. Additional walk-thru admissions can be purchased separately.

    Attendees also have the opportunity to purchase Walk-Thru Admission which features a musical light show produced by the Miranda Family of Edmond, an interactive light exhibit and more.

    The Oklahoma City Zoo will also offer a special Sensory Friendly night , for those who are sensitive to lights and sound, on November 8 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.

    Tickets for Safari Lights will go on sale on Friday, September 27.
