Court records show Wilson was convicted of kidnapping and domestic assault and battery in Oklahoma County, and second degree burglary and unauthorized use of a vehicle in Canadian County.

News 4 had crews on the scene of the October 13, 2023, shooting near W Wilshire Boulevard and N Rockwell Avenue, where a suspect later identified as Wilson had fired multiple shots at an OKCPD officer sitting in their patrol car.

The officer sustained minor injuries after reportedly being struck by shrapnel during the incident.

According to court documents, Wilson planned to “pop a cop” in retaliation for his cousin, who was shot by police in Cleveland County, leading up to the shooting.

On February 7, Wilson pleaded guilty to carrying a firearm despite his prior criminal record.
