Dunedin houses set to become city landmarks
DUNEDIN — City Commissioner Moe Freaney said she was proud to make a motion to designate the home of Allen and Deborah Kynes at 265 Edgewater Drive as a historical landmark. “It’s an honor to make a motion for this one since we know Deborah is the queen of the arts and the queen of historic preservation,” Freaney said at a City Commission meeting June 20.

TAMPA, Fla. — On both sides of the bay, Fourth of July was capped off by grand fireworks displays. There was “The Fourth” at St. Pete Pier and Boom by the Bay in Tampa. But enjoying those views meant braving a heat advisory for many on a day that was hot even by Florida standards.

The Ronto Group announced that construction of its 23-story Altura Bayshore luxury condominium tower overlooking Tampa’s Bayshore Boulevard has been completed. Designed by Curts Gaines Hall Jones Architects and built by Connor & Gaskins Unlimited, the tower includes 67 typical residences ranging from 2,176 to 3,575 square feet under air, and six penthouse residences with approximately 3,500 square feet under air and multiple balconies and terraces.
