El Sueñito Brewing is bringing its beer and tamales to Seattle
Okay, so this is happy and exciting news! El Sueñito Brewing is coming to Seattle. The Bellingham-based brewery recently announced its plan to open a location in the Fremont neighborhood. They’ve not yet announced an exact opening date, but we expect to hear details soon. The location is near The George and Dragon Pub, for those familiar with the neighborhood. El Sueñito Brewing describes itself as a child company of Frelard Tamales. If you’ve visited the Bellingham brewery’s taproom you know it is a tamale shop, too. And the tamales are outstanding!

Electronic duo ODESZA to perform at Gorge Amphitheatre this weekend
QUINCY - GRAMMY-nominated electronic music duo ODESZA is set to return to their roots in Washington for an extraordinary three-day performance this weekend. The event is scheduled at the Gorge Amphitheatre, known globally for its breathtaking beauty, during the 4th of July weekend, from Thursday to Saturday, July 4-6. ODESZA, originating from Bellingham and comprising Western Washington University alumni Clayton Knight and Harrison Mills, will headline the event, marking it as the grand finale of their "The Last Goodbye Tour."

On Saturday, July 6, Burien resident Scott Losse will be at Madrone Cellars for a 7 p.m. show. Scott Is a mainstay in the Seattle comedy scene. He is married and has two chihuahuas. His DryBar special has garnered millions of views and he’s worked a handful of times at Bumbershoot. He was a finalist in the Seattle International Comedy Competition twice. Recently, Scott has gained a social media following, with more than 30,000 Instagram followers. His reels about everyday life have millions of views!

Based on the “Horse Powered Reading®” curriculum, “Treasured Tails” allows children to identify stumbling blocks that get in the way of understanding, experience learning in an outdoor environment, connect with a horse as their “book”, and reflect on their experiences in the moment to create new patterns of learning.
