Overnight shooting in Olivette was murder-suicide, police say
OLIVETTE, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Police said an overnight shooting in Olivette that left two teens dead was a murder-suicide. According to a release, City of Olivette Police responded to a call for a shooting around 1 a.m. in the 9400 block of Olive Boulevard. Arriving officers heard shots fired and thought they were being fired at, leading them to request an “officer in need of aid” call. The officers found two teenage boys suffering from gunshot wounds. One was found in a nearby field and the other inside an apartment building. Both teenage victims were pronounced dead.

Suspect Charged In Assault Outside Of Webster Restaurant
Webster Groves police have identified and arrested the suspect alleged to have assaulted two women in the parking lot of a business in Old Orchard earlier this month. Robert E. Merritt, 28, of Fenton, was charged July 22 with a felony for first-degree aggravated sexual abuse and first-degree property damage in connection with the incident that occurred in the 600 block of East Lockwood Avenue the night of July 10, according to the Webster Groves Police Department. He is being held without bond.

ST. LOUIS — A man was charged in connection with a deadly shooting last month in St. Louis' Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood. St. Louis police said they were called to a shooting at about 12:30 a.m. on June 28 near the intersection of North Grand Boulevard and Montgomery Street. 19-year-old man pleads guilty to two carjackings in St. Louis area
ST. LOUIS — A 19-year-old man admitted Monday to committing two carjackings in the St. Louis area. The U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Missouri said Ramon D. Davis, 19, pleaded guilty in federal court to two counts of carjacking and two counts of brandishing and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.
