(CHICAGO) The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported a 3.4-magnitude earthquake around Somonauk, IL. Somonauk is in DeKalb and LaSalle Counties, 64 miles west of Chicago.

Blazing heat with feels-like temperatures approaching 110° weren’t quite enough for mother nature, so she decided to throw in the chance for severe thunderstorms on Tuesday as well.
