    Tweets Of The Day

Michigan landed top 100 Center Valley (Penn.) Southern Leigh tight end Andrew Olesh July 8, beating out Alabama, Penn State and others. Further schools are continuing to pursue him, though, with Oregon sending him an offer this week. He announced the news on his Instagram account.

Olesh became Michigan’s 15th pledge in the 2025 class back in July.

“They said I could be the next [junior tight end] Colston Loveland ,” Olesh said at the time. “Obviously, he’s a big-time dude and will probably be a first round draft pick. They compared me to him and told me I could fit into their offense well. They threw the ball a lot during the spring game. I think they said the tight ends got the ball 14 times, which is by far the most I’ve seen from any spring game. They also mentioned that they (offensive coaches) had opportunities to leave Michigan, but they chose to stay because they love Michigan. It’s a stable staff, so that’s great to hear.”

Michigan football, which is simply known as national champions, raised a banner at The Big House for its title season last year. The banner features the Rose Bowl logo — commemorating Michigan’s 27-20 win over Alabama — and the 2024 national championship logo, with the text “home of the 2023 national champions” in between.

Michigan junior linebacker Jaishawn Barham has turned heads since arriving in Ann Arbor in January.

Michigan basketball is wrapping up summer workouts. They’ll resume with preseason practices in late September.

    Quote Of The Day

“He’s been a real pleasant surprise. Obviously, we thought he’s a really good player. We signed him at FAU and we had really good players there, so we thought he’d fit in. But he’s shot the ball really, really well. He’s been extremely competitive … he’s been very, very coachable, and he looks like someone that physically is going to be ready to contribute.”
