Three Florida schools have the attention of elite 2026 4-star OT Samuel Roseborough

Clearwater (Fla.) four-star offensive tackle Samuel Roseborough already holds 25 offers. He got his first one from USF during the December of his sophomore year and his recruitment has taken off since then.

Roseborough’s dream school growing up was Georgia and he holds an offer from the Bulldogs. He “loved” watching Georgia when he was younger because he has family in the Peach State and hopes to visit Athens soon.

One state down, three Florida schools are recruiting Roseborough hard to stay in the Sunshine State for his college football career. The 6-foot-5, 260-pound recruit has visited UCF multiple times, Florida twice – including for the Gators’ spring game – and Florida State once.

“I’ll definitely be at a game for each of the Florida schools this year,” Roseborough told On3.

Roseborough, who also plans to see a USF game in the fall, does not seem to be in a rush to announce his commitment. Yet the No. 5 player in Florida , who visited UCF in the spring, already knows what is most important to him in a school. Relationships will be one “big part” of his recruitment.

“I’d like to go through this process and still find new things that are important to me,” said Roseborough, the No. 35 overall prospect and No. 5 offensive tackle in the 2026 On300 . “As of right now, education is big for me and I want to feel like I have a family wherever I go. I want to have people that are going to support me and also push me.”

Roseborough breaks down his interest in Florida, Florida State and UCF

Florida : “They’re in the SEC and that’s a challenging conference, but I think they will do some good things this year. I’m looking forward to seeing what they do.”

“I mainly talk to coach Rob Sale and coach Jonathan Decoster ,” he added. “I have a good relationship with both of them.”

Florida State : “I love coach Alex Atkins . I have a good relationship with him. He’s a funny guy, he’s always going to tell you the truth and he’s always going to be himself, regardless of what the situation is. I love how the o-line is together and that they are together as a team. Their coaches are always on them. They’re always pushing them. Coach Mike Norvell is a high-energy guy. That’s what I love the most about Florida State.”

UCF : “I have a great relationship with coach Herb Hand . He was there from the beginning of my recruitment, which plays a big role in my interest in UCF. I think they’re on the come up. I think the program is rising.”

“I’ve been there to watch practice and just from watching practice a few times, I can tell that everybody is fired up and loves football,” he added. “That’s what I want to be around. That’s what strikes me the most about being on campus there.”
