Isiah Harwell is currently the No. 8 overall player in the 2025 On3 150 . In June, the Five-Star Plus+ shooting guard narrowed his list to four . Texas, Gonzaga, Cal, and Houston each made the final cut. Harwell has taken official visits to Gonzaga and Cal. He has upcoming dates scheduled with Texas and Houston.
Harwell missed the majority of the summer with a lower-body injury. The rising senior at Mount Pleasant (UT) Wasatch Academy tells me that he will be ready to play by the start of this season.
With the intel I have gathered, I have placed an RPM for Harwell to choose Houston.

Isiah Harwell has been a staple in the 2025 On3 150 class since the ranking first dropped in September of 2022. Since then, the native of Idaho has maintained his five-star status throughout the process.
A lot of the early buzz with Harwell centered around Gonzaga. The 6-foot-5 guard took publicized unofficial visits to the campus and the Idaho/Washington state line is 20 minutes from Spokane. When speaking with Harwell, he talks a lot about the familiarity and feel of the campus and surrounding area.
Along the way, I am told that Houston did a lot of work behind the scenes. A source close to the recruitment told me that Houston’s was the campus that Harwell visited more than any other. I am told that Harwell sees the vision that Houston has and he has paid attention to the guards Houston has gotten into the NBA recently.
Sources told me that Gonzaga and Houston formed a two-team race in this one, and a source recently said that Houston has been in front here for a while.
Harwell is scheduled to visit Houston on August 22 and Texas on August 30. Texas is worth at least monitoring here if they do get him on campus for the final visit. A source close to the recruitment told me a commitment could be coming soon while September 12 currently remains the public commitment date.
