Inside Texas was able to stop by Red Oak high school Saturday morning as the budding DFW program had a intersquad scrimmage. The intensity was at an all-time high as coaches and players were getting after it. Red Oak has three players the Longhorns are paying close attention to and one with an offer in 2026 WR Brayden Robinson.

Robinson is the son of head coach Melvin Robinson. Brayden said that he keeps in touch with Chris Jackson often and that he feels he’s one of the top in-state 2026 targets for the Longhorns. Robinson keeps in touch with Texas commit Dia Bell , as the two have maintained contact since they both worked out at an Ohio State camp together.

Robinson is ranked as the No. 205 overall prospect, the No. 34 wide receiver, and the No. 25 player in Texas in the On3 Industry Ranking. On3 ranks Robinson as the No. 101 receiver and the No. 85 player in Texas.

Another talented prospect is 2027 DB Dhillon McGee . McGee just turned 15 and stands 6-foot-1, 175 pounds. McGee camped at Texas this summer at receiver and defensive back but he’s projected to be on the defensive side ball in college. The multi-sport athlete plays baseball for Red Oak and is part of their track program as well. McGee has 15 offers from the likes of Texas Tech, Houston, Wisconsin, Nebraska and more.

McGee is currently unranked in the On3 Industry Ranking

2027 DT Johnnie Fitzgerald is also on the Longhorns’ radar. He also camped with Texas this summer and he stated the conversation has picked up between him and the Horns. Fitzgerald. Is 6-foot-3, 290 pounds but moves really well. He has early offers from Texas Tech, San Diego State, and UIW.

    Fitzgerald is unranked.
