Auburn Football Recruiting Hot Board: Offense

Auburn has 22 commitments in its 2025 recruiting class with nine projected to play on offense. There is still work to be done before the early signing period begins in December.

What is left for Auburn on offense in the 2024 class? Who are the top recruits at each position and what are Auburn’s chances with each?

The Hot Board has the answers.

Below are the recruits I believe are the top targets at each position and my guesses at Auburn’s chances of signing them. Keep in mind, the percentages are Auburn’s chances against the field.

Quarterbacks (1)

I still like Auburn’s chances to flip Knight from Notre Dame and believe it happens before the season kicks off next Saturday.

Running backs (2-3)

Auburn’s bid for a second running back in the class, a bigger back to pair with Henderson, hit a snag over the weekend when Mills-Knight committed to Ole Miss. However, the Tigers remain in the top two for Kromah, although likely the underdog to Florida State. Auburn is keeping Rogers warm in case he de-commits from Alabama.

Wide receivers (3-4)

I expect Turner to return to Auburn after the dead period ends later this month. A flip could come soon after the visit. Erick Smith, twin brother to Derick Smith, is another to keep an eye on. And, of course, Cunningham will always have a spot in the class.

Tight ends (3)

Auburn has Davidson and Ghea committed and will look to add a third tight end to the class via the transfer portal.

Offensive line (5-7)

Auburn has five committed and continues to push hard for Babalola and Goodman. Babalola could have a decision soon and the Tigers could be in a toss-up battle with Michigan, according to Auburn Live’s Cole Pinkston. I’ll defer to Cole here. Same for Goodman; Auburn and Penn State appear to be battling for him.

Punter (1)

Auburn wanted to add a punter in this class and has done so with one of the best. McGuire is ranked by Kohl’s Kicking as a five-star punter and the No. 2 punter in the country.
