Georgia completed a walk thru on Monday and focused on making corrections from Saturday’s scrimmage, something it does every Monday after games in the fall. I am sure it was also a chance for UGA players to recover and get their legs back before Tuesday’s practice. We all know that Georgia is dinged up right now so let’s get to what we are hearing on certain injuries.

*** Every source I have spoken with on Warren Brinson expects him to be full go and ready to play against Clemson. That is great news for the defensive line room. He is a massive piece there were some questions here early in camp but I feel strongly that, barring any type of setback, he will be good to go against the Tigers.

*** I do not expect him to be on the field when Georgia plays Clemson, but I was told that Jordan Hall ‘s recovery is going really well. I’m hearing that he is already way ahead of schedule and barring any set backs, he may not miss anywhere near the games we thought he might when he had the second surgery. I think we all know how big it would be if Georgia could start getting him back in the mix for the Kentucky game. I am not ruling that out at this point.

*** Got a chance to watch Georgia quarterback commit Jared Curtis throw on Monday at this school. I am trying to let the visit high wear down before I got off the rails with an evaluation, but I am not sure I have seen a QB turn it loose with that much heat on it. He plays at a small Christian school, and they have a really good chance to win the state championship in their division in Tennessee.

The coach there told me on Monday that “everyone in the country was trying to get him to leave, but he wanted to play with his friends that he has built this team around.” I will have more from an interview with him, but he said USC was the team pushing the hardest. Curtis also told me that he has everything he wants at Georgia and he knows he will be surrounded by key pieces. He specifically talked about Mike Bobo and Montgomery Van Gorder (assistant QB coach) and how he trusts them. I will get you guys some video put together on Curtis. I am telling you it looks like a baseball coming out of his hand.
