The popular Beats by Dre audio software company has signed 11 college football players to NIL deals ahead of the 2024 season, including Michigan junior cornerback Will Johnson.

The athletes will be featured across various marketing campaigns and wear custom Beats products.

Here are the players who Beats signed:

    More from On3’s Pete Nakos:

As part of the second edition of “Beats Elite,” the brand teamed with Learfield to secure intellectual property rights so athletes’ universities can be featured on headphones and speaker designs with logos and mascots.

“We’re excited to bring back another Beats Elite class with this impressive group of athletes,” Beats CMO Chris Thorne told On3 in a statement. “College football has a special energy around it, and we look forward to being part of these young stars’ journeys this season.”

The 11 athletes have a combined 4.2 million social media followers, something brands prioritize in major marketing campaigns. Each athlete has since posted about the deal with their school on social media platforms.

Former Michigan basketball head coach John Beilein — the winningest head coach in program history — joined head man Dusty May and the current staff on their retreat this week. Beilein has been serving as an advisor for May and Co. in an unofficial capacity.

Former Michigan hockey players with the Detroit Red Wings, along with other members of the Wolverine hockey program, including head coach Brandon Naurato, were seen at Michigan football practice.

Michigan alum and prominent talk show host Rich Eisen discussed last year’s national championship with ESPN’s Pat McAfee.

Michigan Wolverines basketball will have an exciting schedule in its first season under head coach Dusty May, which includes the addition of a Dec. 10 matchup against Arkansas in the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden.

Michigan has a 4-3 record against Arkansas, with the most recent meeting being an 80-67 win Dec. 8, 2012 in Fayeteville.

The two teams have played twice in the postseason — a 77-62 win by U-M in the NIT semifinal in 1997 and a 76-68 Arkansas victory in the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight in 1994. The Razorbacks went on to win the national championship in 1994.

Michigan played at Madison Square Garden, knocking off home team St. John’s 89-73 on Dec. 13. The Wolverines have won 11 straight games at the World’s Most Famous Arena and own a 26-11 overall record at the venue.

    Quote Of The Day

“I haven’t really sat and thought about all of those things, because we’ve been doing so many situations. [Michigan head coach] Sherrone [Moore ] has done a great job, as far as preparing us in camp of all the different situations. There are a few rule changes. I was yelling at an official the other day about, ‘it was uncatchable,’ and I found out that wasn’t [a rule in college]. And I thought the offensive linemen had to report. So I got caught up on all that real quick.”
