Sights and Sounds: Seminoles hold last practice in Dublin before season opener

DUBLIN, Ireland — The No. 10 Florida State Seminoles held their final practice of the preseason on Friday, as they conclude preparations for Saturday’s season opener against Georgia Tech in Aviva Stadium.

The game will be played in front of a sell-out crowd of nearly 50,000, and both teams are looking for a huge win to start the 2024 campaign.

For Florida State, it will be a chance to pick up right where the Seminoles left off in the 2023 regular season, going undefeated at 13-0 and winning the Atlantic Conference Championship.

For Georgia Tech, it would be a chance for major validation in head coach Brent Key’s second full season.

The Seminoles are favored by double-digits for the game, despite losing 10 NFL Draft picks and other top reserves from last year’s team.
