Florida State football program turns heads with historic recruitment moment
Any time an elite college football program locks in a four-star recruit, it’s a small victory worth celebrating. However, in the case of four-star cornerback Gregory “Zae” Thomas and the Florida State Seminoles, there’s an extra layer to all of it that makes Thomas’ commitment even more special. In the 122 year history of the Florida […] The post Florida State football program turns heads with historic recruitment moment appeared first on ClutchPoints.
Well, this stinks... Tallahassee native shuts down recruitment with an arch-rival
Florida State football has had so many successful moments with recruiting over the past couple of weeks. However, I recognize that recruiting is ever-changing and it involves teenagers making one of the most important decisions of their lifetime. The Seminoles recently had commitments such as four-star wide receiver CJ Wiley,...

FSU football: Major pros and cons IF Noles went to SEC instead of B1G
FSU football leaving the ACC is a foregone conclusion. It's not if but when now, and I've been on the record that it'll happen no later than 2026. I wouldn't be surprised if FSU announced its exit before the August 2024 deadline. All of the clowns who said FSU would be stuck in the ACC until 2036 will have to eat their crow. FSU fans have all the bookmarks on social media ready to unload when the announcement comes down, and the celebration will commence.

Florida State riding recent momentum on the recruiting trail
Florida State was arguably the biggest surprise of the 2023 college football season. In their fourth season under head coach Mike Norvell, the Seminoles capped off an undefeated regular season with a 16-6 victory against Louisville in the ACC Championship Game. Most expected 13-0 FSU to land a berth in the College Football Playoff. But it didn't happen, as the Seminoles became the first undefeated Power Five team to be left out, with the selection committee citing a season-ending injury to star quarterback Jordan Travis as the primary reason for the snub. BREAKING: I am demanding answers and transparency from the @CFBPlayoff...
FSU football: Analyzing massive June 2024 recruiting for 2025 class
FSU football started June with four commits in its 2025 recruiting class and hadn't had a commit since Javion Hilson flipped his commitment from Alabama when Nick Saban retired in January. FSU football fans always get antsy when it comes to recruiting(I don't know why when the staff has proven they know what they're doing). Lots of schools had double-digit commits going into the month, but if you follow FSU recruiting closely, they don't push for early commitments before summer. They plan to host most of their top targets on official visits in June, and a large percentage of those official visitors usually pledge their commitments in June or July. We saw it this time last year with several commitments on or around July 4th after hosting 14 official visitors on the last weekend in June. FSU saw eight of those 14 eventually sign with the Noles. FSU had 19 official visitors on campus the weekend of June 21-23, and four have committed to the Noles since Monday. FSU moved from the No. 70 class nationally to No. 35(with way fewer commits than everyone ahead of them). Here's who committed over the past week:
Top recruit in the state of Nebraska commits to Florida State
In the recruiting world, things can change at a moment’s notice. A little over a week ago, Cornhuskers Wire reported that Chase Loftin, the top high school player in Nebraska, was projected to commit to the Cornhuskers. That changed Saturday evening when Loftin announced his commitment to the Florida State Seminoles. He chose FSU over Nebraska, Missouri, and Texas A&M. The tight end told 247Sports that the people at Florida State made the difference in his decision. “Florida State is home for me because of the people. All the coaches showed tons of love. I think it is a place to win a...
