Tennessee Basketball will host Indiana in a charity exhibition game at Food City Center on October 27. Proceeds from the game will go to The John McClendon Foundation , which provides minorities access and opportunity through a scholarship program and leadership initiative.

“We are thrilled to host one of the best programs in the nation and support a worthy cause at the same time. I have a great deal of respect for Coach (Mike) Woodson and I look forward to sharing a sideline with him for the first time,” Tennessee coach Rick Barnes said in a press release.

“Indiana’s first visit to Knoxville provides an excellent test for our guys before the season officially begins. Most of all, though, it is a great way to raise money for an impactful organization whose mission I fully support.”

The start time for the game and television information has not yet been released. The Vols went to Michigan State last October for a charity exhibition, winning 89-88, and beat Gonzaga in a charity exhibition in Frisco, Texas, two years ago.

Tennessee is scheduled to open the regular-season schedule on November 4 against Gardner-Webb.
