Again, the Crimson Tide started the season with a 63-0 victory over Western Kentucky . ‘Bama outdid the prediction by the ratings in that one as their analysis gave a 41-7 victory. They nearly doubled that margin, though, in the largest win in a coaching debut in school history.
Alabama has 11 regular-season games left now this fall. Here’s how On3’s Massey Ratings has them coming out over the rest of this season.
Alabama will take the field again this weekend against an opponent that gave them a scare last year in USF. The Bulls, although amidst the Tide trying multiple quarterbacks that game, led them through the first half and were tied at halftime in Tampa before it ended in a 17-3 victory. While a trickier mid-major opponent, though, the prediction has this season’s game as the second-most lopsided left on their schedule.
Massey Ratings Prediction: Alabama 45, USF 7
Alabama at Wisconsin – Sat., 9/14
‘Bama playing at Camp Randall is one of the better non-conference meetings of the season with at least Big Noon Kickoff coming to Madison. It’ll also be a rematch of a playoff connection from back in 2021 when Luke Fickell , then the coach of the Cincinnati Bearcats , lost to the Tide in the Cotton Bowl. Still, while it’s not a normal venue for them to play in with it being that far north, the projection for that first road test is a 20-point win over the Badgers.
Massey Ratings Prediction: Alabama 34, Wisconsin 14
Alabama vs. Georgia – Sat., 9/28
Even without Nick Saban any longer, this one would’ve been highlighted with the two recent best in the Southeastern Conference, Georgia and Alabama, meeting in a regular-season game in Bryant-Denny Stadium. Most may anticipate the currently top-ranked Bulldogs to get some payback for what this specific opponent has cost them in during an all-time span in Athens. However, the ratings expect otherwise with it noting this as a one-point win for the Crimson Tide.
Massey Ratings Prediction: Alabama 28, Georgia 27
Alabama at Vanderbilt – Sat., 10/5
Alabama’s first away game of the conference year will be in Music City against the Commodores. The ratings expect Vandy to be no problem for them to open up in October. Its prognosis has this as the Tides’ biggest league win by a margin at 30 points.
Massey Ratings Prediction: Alabama 44, Vanderbilt 14
The Crimson Tide would then be following that up with what the ratings have as their second-biggest conference win at 27 points over South Carolina. With a victory over the Gamecocks, Alabama would be unblemished at the halfway point of their season at 6-0.

Alabama at Tennessee – Sat., 10/19
The Third Saturday in October sets up as another potential classic with where both Alabama and Tennessee stand coming into this season. It’ll hopefully live up to what it was when they last played it on Rocky Top in 2022 too with a game-winning field goal by Tennessee to end a 15-year losing streak. Still, in 2024, the prediction for this one would be back in favor of the Tide with it being by a touchdown for them over the Vols.
Massey Ratings Prediction: Alabama 31, Tennessee 24
Alabama vs. Missouri – Sat., 10/26
This is likely to be the most difficult game of the season for Mizzou this fall when they come to T-Town at the end of the season’s second month. It will end up being that too per the ratings as they have Alabama remaining unbeaten both overall and against the Tigers as a conference opponent with a double-up win of 18 points before heading into their second bye before November starts.
Massey Ratings Prediction: Alabama 35, Missouri 17
Alabama at LSU – Sat., 11/9
Much like their last trip to Knoxville, the Tide’s previous stop in Baton Rouge in ’22 did not go well. The Tigers got a game-winning two-point conversion in overtime to beat them in their last conference loss since and final league loss under Saban. However, the prediction for this game favors ‘Bama to leave Death Valley with an eight-point win.
Massey Ratings Prediction: Alabama 35, LSU 27
Alabama vs. Mercer – Sat., 11/16
Mercer had a quality season last year with a finish of 9-4 . With that said, the Bears have very little chance to manage this one. Its the largest differential left on Alabama’s schedule with it predicted as a 48-point win to reach double-digit victories.

Alabama at Oklahoma – Sat., 11/23
After playing Texas a season ago in the non-conference, Alabama will now go to the other side of Red River with a trip to Norman to play the Sooners as league opponents. The ratings have that road finale and penultimate matchup as a close, six-point win for the Tide over OU
Massey Ratings Prediction: Alabama 34, Oklahoma 28
Alabama vs. Auburn – Sat., 11/30
Alabama will close the season with The Iron Bowl in Tuscaloosa. The Tide have led the rivalry over recent memory with them going 12-5 against Auburn under Saban. It’ll now be the first matchup in the series for DeBoer against Hugh Freeze with ‘Bama expected to get another over the Tigers with the prediction as a 21-point win to close the season at 12-0.
Massey Ratings Prediction: Alabama 38, Auburn 17
When DeBoer took the job in Saban’s place, Alabama would more than take it if his first season was an undefeated one before playing for an SEC Championship and making the College Football Playoff in all likelihood. There’s still a ways to go to do that, though, with On3’s Massey Ratings foretelling that for the Crimson Tide.
