YMCA hosts 15th annual kids' triathlon

ONALASKA, WIS (WKBT)-- On Saturday, July 13th, the YMCA in Onalaska held their 15th annual kids' triathlon.

The event allows kids of all abilities the opportunity to compete in various activities like swimming, biking, and running.

One official said the most exciting part is being able to see the joy on kids' faces who are participating in the triathlon for the first time.

"So many kiddos and their families come out and some of these kids it's their first time doing something like this. And to just see the joy on their faces when they are crossing the finish line is definitely my favorite part," said KJ McMillan.

All the money raised from the triathlon will support a variety of programs at the YMCA.
