City of Bradenton proposes ordinance to restrict alcohol sales
BRADENTON, Fla. (WWSB) - A proposed amendment to a City of Bradenton ordinance could bring big changes to Bradenton bars and restaurants. The amendment states that due to an increase in criminal and violent activity occurring after midnight, an ordinance has been proposed to prohibit the selling and serving of alcohol from midnight to 2:30 a.m.

Audubon Celebrates new islands in its Florida Coastal Islands Sanctuaries System
A generous donation from Mahaffey Management, LLC, adds three mangrove spoil islands to the Florida Coastal Islands Sanctuaries System and brings the total number of islands up to 28.
