Police identify 13-year-old boy as motorcyclist who collided with SUV in DeWitt
DeWitt, N.Y. — A 13-year-old boy is in critical condition after the motorcycle he was riding collided with an SUV Monday night and caught fire in DeWitt, police said. DeWitt police Tuesday had asked for the public’s help identifying the motorcyclist because they didn’t know who he was. He didn’t have any IDs or other identifying documents.

Man rescued from burning Syracuse home dies 10 days later
Syracuse, N.Y. — A 69-year-old man who was taken to a hospital after being rescued from a house fire in June has died, firefighters said. Richard Tyminski died on Saturday from injuries related to the fire., Capt. Matt Craner, a spokesperson for the Syracuse Fire Department, said Monday. He was found inside the basement of a home at 923 Park Ave. during a fire on June 19, he said.

President of CNY youth soccer club charged with stealing over $50,000 from organization
Cicero, N.Y. – A president and coach of a Central New York youth soccer club has been charged with stealing over $50,000 from the group, troopers said. Paul R. Palucci, 36, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with second-degree grand larceny and first-degree falsifying business records after allegedly using his soccer club’s accounts for fraudulent charges, according to a news release from State Police.
