Rising Stars Youth Leadership Program Accepting Applications for 21st Session
The Rising Stars Youth Leadership Program is now accepting applications for its 21st annual program. Any interested high school student can apply now online. Rising Stars is a seven-month program that takes place on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Union Church in Little Tokyo. It wasn’t so much the way they started. It was all about the way South Hills finished on Friday night. The Huskies trailed 15-10 at Baldwin Park in the 2024 season opener. But SHHS would outscore BPHS, 42-14, the rest of the way, and they went on to claim a 52-29 victory.
