The Orange County Animal Services was called for assistance as the pup had lost the function of his hind legs.

In a Facebook post , the rescue noted that its officer took the canine to the Veterinary Emergency Clinic. He was cared for in the clinic and then transferred to the shelter after his condition had stabilized. Ozzy is still being monitored as he isn’t out of the woods yet. However, he will receive further treatment from his regular vet.
