Many have announced that they have filed for bankruptcy in some form or fashion, with plenty also having announced the closures of locations across the country. In some severe cases, some companies have called it quits and closed their doors altogether. Ten years from now, this year will likely be remembered as the year that saw the downfall of some of the most successful retail stores and food chains once upon a time.
