San Rafael Swell council to host public meeting, field tour
Official public comment can be provided on Aug. 14. Comprised of a diverse assembly of stakeholders, including outdoor enthusiasts, environmental conservationists, and Tribal and local governmental representatives, the council serves in an advisory role to the Bureau of Land Management concerning the stewardship of the Recreation Area, according to a statement from the BLM.
Shantel Fitz Takes the Stage at International Days
28-year-old Shantel Fitzgerald is a local musician that grew up in Orangeville and is currently residing in Price. She will be performing at International Days on Saturday, July 27, at 7 p.m. in Washington Park. The multi-genre artist has had a different style and sound in all of her songs she has released thus far. Some of her biggest influences include Ed Sheeran, Twenty One Pilots, Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift.

Salt Lake City, UT – Portions of northwestern Utah are under a Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms today, according to the US National Weather Service in Salt Lake City. Residents can expect isolated severe storms with strong wind gusts reaching 50-60 mph. The primary threat period is from 2 p.m. to 3 a.m. Friday, with the most likely affected areas being the West Desert (5-11 p.m.), Wasatch Front (8 p.m. – 12 a.m.), and Uinta County, Wyoming (11 p.m. – 3 a.m.).
