Jury in Samantha Woll Murder Trial Returns to Deliberate For a 5th Day on Thursday
On Tuesday, on the fouth day of deliberations, the Detroit jury in the Samantha Woll murder trial failed to reach a unanimous verdict. A Southfield woman accused of killing her friend’s young child in Detroit has been found to be competent to stand trial, according to a recent competency evaluation. Iesha Harris, 30, faces charges of felony murder and first-degree child abuse in connection with the death of 3-year-old Harmoni Henderson. It’s alleged Harris fatally assaulted the child while babysitting her at a home in the 15700 block of Southfield Road. The child was privately transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead on March 17, officials said.
