    Woman unharmed after report of smoke Wednesday morning in Oregon home

    UPDATE: Smoke detectors alerted an elderly lady who was able to make it out of her house after the smoke was detected. She was located outside of the building when fire crews arrived.

    Crews were able to ventilate, getting the smoke out. There is an estimated $50-$75,000 in damages.

    Oregon Fire Chief Glen Linzmeier said, "today was a win."


    PREVIOUS COVERAGE - Officials were called to a building in 6100 block of Knollwood Drive for reports of smoke.

    Dane County dispatch said the call came in just before 5 a.m. Auto-response notified several agencies.

    Oregon Fire and other crews were able to extinguish the fire in the basement.
