Stewart ‘honored’ to lead Carlisle
Julie Stewart will begin her 30th year in education this August when she steps into the role of principal at Carlisle Elementary School in Delaware. Stewart joins the district after 29 years at Lima City Schools where she spent 13 years teaching elementary school and 16 years as a principal. Stewart was hired by the Delaware City Schools Board of Education in June to replace former Carlisle Principal Paula Vertikoff, who left at the end of the school year.

Electronic recycling event to take place at Riverside High School Aug. 6
FRANKLIN TWP. ― A free electronic recycling event is set to take place at Riverside High School in early August. Franklin Township officials have announced that the recycling event will take place at the school from 2 to 6 p.m. Aug. 6.
