    Man ID’d after apparent, deadly ‘targeted attack’

    OREGONIA, Ohio (WDTN) — The man killed in Warren County after a reported shooting has been identified.

    According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, David Lee Foster, 54, was killed Tuesday in the 4800 block of North Waynesville Road in Oregonia. As reported by WCSO, authorities responded to the area for a reported shooting, where they found Foster.

    Although the investigation is still underway, officials believe the incident “was a targeted attack.”

    “We are confident this was a targeted attack and are working diligently to identify a suspect,” WCSO said. “We will issue more details as the investigation unfolds.”

    Foster is believed to have previously resided at the location where first responders were dispatched.
