An "aggressive" United Airlines passenger is facing charges after biting a flight attendant on a plane from Miami this week.

The flight left Miami International Airport in Florida for Newark, New Jersey on Tuesday evening but was forced to make a sudden diversion to Orlando after the female passenger began causing chaos on board the flight.

Cellphone video obtained by TMZ shows the woman screaming at other passengers as flight attendants tried to restrain her and put zip-ties around her wrists.

During the altercation, the woman bit the shoulder of one of the crew members and ripped off a piece of his uniform.

In another video, the woman could be heard ranting as a flight attendant secured the zip-ties.

"People are recording me, don't come to this airline, don't come on f**king United Airlines," she said. "These people have an attitude problem, they don't f**king do their jobs. They are handcuffing me. Why are you handcuffing me? Why, b**ch, why?"

Another video shows the woman screaming profanities at other passengers who were recording her. She also threatened to kill a woman who she said should "go back to Russia."

"Why are you guys standing here watching a girl get handcuffed for nothing," she said, adding, "Suck my d**k."

Police officers boarded the plane and escorted the woman off as passengers applauded.

Reports indicate the flight was delayed for about three-and-a-half hours because of the incident. A reason for the woman's midflight meltdown wasn't revealed.

In a statement, United Airlines said the flight was forced to stop after a passenger became "aggressive and disruptive."

"Our flight attendants worked to de-escalate the situation and protect other customers and after landing in Orlando, law enforcement met the flight, and the passenger was removed. We're grateful to our team for their professionalism and for looking out for the safety of our customers and their fellow United employees," the statement said.

A spokesperson for the Orlando Police Department told WOFL that the woman was transported to a local hospital for a medical evaluation. It's unclear if she's facing any charges.
